Pantellos buyer customers posted a monthly record of more than $147 million in auctions expenditures during the month of August, reporting aggregated savings of more than $17 million.
Pantellos conducted 26 online auction events in August, involving 84 individual lots, 22 different spend categories and 126 suppliers. More than half of the August auctions were conducted in conjunction with an RFx event.
Pantellos Dynamic Services auctions allow buyers to rapidly obtain the most competitive market prices for goods and services. Pantellos customers have reported more than approximately $240 million in savings to date. In addition, auctions streamline the negotiation and procurement process and reduce procurement cycle time.
