Pantellos follows a process for content development that starts with the population of raw content templates.
Classification
Content that is refined through Pantellos Content Services will adhere to the UNSPSC (Universal Standards Products and Services Classification) standard (unless otherwise agreed to by the trading parties).
The specific UNSPSC classification that will be followed is that of the ECCMA organization. Additional information on this classification can be found at the ECCMA website.
Units of Measure (UOM)
Pantellos has standardized on the EDIFACT Units Of Measure classification (unless otherwise agreed to by the Trading Parties). Information about this standard can be found at www.unece.org, under the heading “Codes for Trade Facilitation”.
RoundTrip Standards
Pantellos supports the SAP OCI (Open Catalog Interface) version 2.0B specification for buying application RoundTrip to Marketplace content engine-hosted catalogs. OCI supports both XML and HTML messaging from the content engine to the buying application. Pantellos currently supports HTML messages only.
This specification is natively supported by SAP BBP/EBP, Commerce One BuySite 6.5 / EBD platforms, and the Pantellos Buyer system.
